The coils with the isoproflex pipe had to be delivered from Moscow to Kamchatka. Construction equipment transportation is a very expensive process. We helped the customer save about 1 million rubles thanks to a well-thought-out transportation scheme!
Description
The cargo dimensions were not suitable for transportation in covered wagons or containers. And transportation in rolling stock alternative types was magnitude higher in cost an order.Therefore, we made a non-standard decision:
- Developed a plan for the coils transportation with a reduction in the transportation cost
- We held negotiations with the construction company and found out that they would unwind the pipe on suspended equipment. After that, we changed the coils design to the required dimensions.
- Loaded the coils into a covered wagon, transported and unloaded them at the destination.
Result
The cargo was delivered safely and within the required time. At the same time, we saved the client about 1 million rubles!
